I KNOW BIGFOOT I know about Bigfoot.

Tell us what happened

This site takes witnesses seriously, which means it does not publish their accounts carelessly. Tell it plainly, tell it in your own words, and leave out anything you are not sure of. A hedged account is worth more here than a confident one.

What happens to what you write. A person reads every submission before anything appears on this page. Accounts are published under your first name and last initial only. Nothing is published as a fact about Bigfoot; it is published as an account of what you experienced, which is a different and more honest thing.

Your email, if you give one, is never published and is used only to ask you a follow-up question. Do not send anything you would not want read by strangers, and do not include other people's names or exact addresses.

One letter. That is all that gets published, and all that gets stored.

· Details that let someone else check the account are the most valuable thing you can include: distance, light, weather, who else was there, whether you went back.

What people have sent in

Each of these was read before it went up. They are published as accounts, not as evidence, and they are not graded with status labels because a first-person experience is not the kind of claim those labels are for.
