Tens of thousands of people are certain about something, the record they have produced is enormous, and after a century and a half of it there is still no animal. This site is the whole record, assembled honestly and labeled claim by claim: what is established, what is only asserted, what is genuinely in dispute, and what was a hoax. Nobody here is being called a liar, and nothing here is being taken on faith.

How to read this site. Every claim carries one of five labels, and the label describes the claim's evidentiary standing, never whether Bigfoot is real.
DOCUMENTED The event or object demonstrably happened or exists. A plaster cast existing is a documented fact about a cast.
ALLEGED One named person's claim, uncorroborated.
CONTESTED Qualified people publicly disagree, with real argument on both sides.
DEBUNKED A specific, sourced explanation has superseded the claim.
HOAX Fabrication, admitted or demonstrated.
If a specimen is produced tomorrow, every page here gets rewritten and the correction goes on the front. That is not a rhetorical flourish, it is the stated method.
